JiaoCha in Mandarin Chinese can be translated as « crossing ». JiaoCha is a world wide, polymorphic and tentacular project initiated by Bluescreen. Started 4 years ago, instances of the project have been shown in different countries like Argentina, France, Bosnia, China or Taiwan. Initially bases on an online interface, developped for the project, the question is to experience, beyond borders a singular and poetic form of communication.

What happens when we lack words ? Which particular language can be established beyond language, beyond the distances and the shared codes that meld such and such a language ? What new rapports can emerge from the exchange and the fusion of pixels on a virtual surface that is shared ?

For this step, proposed by BlueScreen and Pierre Amoudruz for Lyon's association AADN, we decided to don't show the images produced by JioaCha process but, by turning the camera, to focus on the experiences of the JiaoCha actors.
